D.F. Pace Named Chief of Wyoming Area Regional Police, Pledges Community-First Leadership

In July 2022, D.F. Pace was unanimously appointed as the inaugural Chief of the newly formed Wyoming Area Regional Police Department, bringing over two decades of leadership from the Philadelphia Police Department. Speaking to residents in Exeter Borough, Pace shared his personal story of immigrating from Italy, working in his family’s restaurant, and rising through the ranks of law enforcement with a deep-rooted work ethic. Emphasizing values like transparency, community engagement, and approachability, Pace expressed his commitment to building a responsive and trusted police force from the ground up. “I want to hear what you have to say… and I’d like to address those as we build this police force,” he stated, promising to be a visible and active presence in the community long before the department responds to its first call.
